MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 12 // -- John B. Collins Associates, Inc.
(Collins), a reinsurance intermediary serving clients nationwide in the
property-casualty, life, and accident & health insurance markets, will open a
new office in Tampa, Fla. on Jan. 3, 2006, "to be close to our clients and
prospects in a region with many reinsurance needs and challenges," Patrick
Denzer, president and chief executive officer, announced today.

The office will serve clients in the Gulf Coast states. Jeff LeGare,
senior vice president, Collins, has been named manager of the Tampa office.
"Several of our specialties -- including property catastrophe reinsurance,
professional liability and workers compensation -- are especially important
to clients in this region," Denzer said. "Our new local presence will help to
leverage our expertise in a growing and dynamic marketplace."
