ING, Trans Union True Credit, Pearson, Bayview, Constellation Brands,
Accredited Home Lenders, Other Fortune 500 Customers Embrace ClearApps
QuickVision
SUNNYVALE, Calif., Nov. 14 // -- ClearApp, the leading
provider of model-driven portal and SOA application performance management
(APM) solutions, today announced record-breaking sales results for its
fiscal third quarter ending on Tuesday, Oct. 31. The company achieved
year-over-year sales growth of 399 percent in fiscal Q3 and year-to-date
bookings growth of more than 292 percent over the same period in the
previous fiscal year, already making this fiscal year by far the most
successful in company history.
"Our third quarter results are reflective of whats quickly becoming a
break-through year for the company," said Jason Donahue, president and CEO
of ClearApp, Inc. "With more new customers signed last quarter than in all
four quarters of the previous fiscal year combined, were heading into
fourth quarter to close out our year with substantially greater momentum
than ever before."
Many leading large and mid-sized companies across a number of
industries selected ClearApp as their preferred APM solution provider
during the last three months, in many cases replacing their existing
application management platforms. Examples of new or expanded customer
accounts in ClearApps fiscal third quarter include: ING; Trans Union True
Credit; Pearson; Bayview Financial; Constellation Brands and Accredited
Home Lenders, among other Fortune 500 companies.
The fiscal third quarter also saw the advancement of the companys
product roadmap with the launch of ClearApps QuickVision 6. The new
version extended portal, SOA and application server platform support,
allowing customers to manage a broader range of custom applications running
on IBM WebSphere and BEA WebLogic. ClearApps QuickVision remains the only
application management platform that uses an advanced modeling engine to
automatically create schematics of business logic flow and application
component relationships. Modeling enables ClearApps customers to conduct
more accurate monitoring of data selections and improve problem triage.
Adoption of SOA as a preferred architectural style continues to grow in
line with industry-wide demand for better aligning IT strategy with
business goals. As Global 2000 companies increasingly deploy SOA and
complex portal applications made up of diverse and rapidly changing
application components, optimizing performance of this new class of
applications continues to be a top priority. According to a market
assessment report by WinterGreen Research, the application management
market is expected to reach 1.1 billion dollars by 2009.(1) The report also
predicts that this segment will continue to grow as the need for
application management expands to embrace automatic correction of
performance issues and downtime.
ClearApps modeling engine enables customers to automate their
QuickVision implementation in addition to the change detection for any
enterprise application QuickVision is managing. This degree of automation,
while helpful in traditional J2EE application environments, is even more
critical in portal and SOA performance management where applications change
much more frequently. ClearApps modeling technology also provides graphic
visualizations of the associations between different application components
from both a performance and business logic flow perspective, providing
topological blueprints of managed applications with drill-down visibility
into performance. This modeling approach has proven itself crucial to
customers, particularly in portal and SOA environments where the service
flows of applications often look much different than the code components.
