EDMONTON, Alberta, March 23 /-FirstCall/ -- Medical Services
International Inc. (OTC: MSITF) is pleased to announce that it has had a very
positive start to the new year (2006). In the months of January and February,
2006 the Company sold 290,000 VScan test kits at an average price of
2.30 USD. Currently the Company has confirmed orders for another 1.6 million
test kits in 2006 and is negotiating price and the production schedule for a
further 3.6 million test kits.
The majority of the test kits ordered are the VScan HIV kits. The Company
has also sold Dengue Fever, Malaria, Hepatitis C and Tuberculosis (TB) test
kits during this period.
The Company has submitted testing information and samples to another 14
countries for approval of the VScan test kits. It is anticipated that approval
will be received in at least 8 of these countries within the next 90 to 120
days.

The VScan rapid test kit is a single use, disposable, accurate, cost
effective, easy to use, test for the screening of HIV 1&2, Hepatitis B&C,
Tuberculosis (TB), Dengue Fever, West Nile, Syphilis, Malaria and Prostate
Cancer. The kits cannot be sold in Canada.
