Michigan Growth Capital Symposium Held May 16-17, 2006 Attracts Emerging
Companies, Executives, Researchers, Venture Capitalists and Financiers From

ANN ARBOR, Mich., May 10 // -- The Michigan Growth Capital
Symposium (MGCS), the premier event fueling Midwest economic emergence,
today announced the final day for registration, May 12, 2006. This
nationally attended event provides an opportunity for private and venture
investors to connect with up-and-coming Midwest businesses and build
relationships with an unparalleled business network of distinguished
private equity industry leaders, leading university research faculty, and

The MGCS is shaping up to be the biggest and best event in its 25-year
history. Keynote speakers Geoffrey Duyk, managing director of Calif.-based
Texas Pacific Group Ventures and Dana Johnson, senior vice president and
chief economist of Comerica, Inc. headline the event, with dynamic national
panelists and cutting edge presenting companies from the Midwest. The 2006
